Hello, I’m May, the founder of Maison Blooms.

My journey started with a simple thought. I’ve always loved how fresh flowers brighten up a room, but it always made me sad to watch them wilt and fade away a few days later. I wanted to find a way to keep that beauty alive, to create something that could be held onto and cherished long after a special occasion has passed.

From my studio here in Dunedin, I started Maison Blooms with a dream to create floral arrangements that don't just decorate a home but help capture memories. I want these flowers to be a reminder of love and joy that stays with you.

The heart behind every bouquet

Everything you see in our shop is hand-wrapped by me. I believe that giving a gift should be an easy and joyful experience for you, but truly special for the person receiving it. That’s why I carefully pick out every bloom and choose every ribbon, making sure that everything we send out meets the high quality I’d want for my own family and friends.

How it works: My bespoke service is a collaborative process. We start by discussing your requirements—your preferred color scheme, the occasion, the size of the arrangement, and any specific flowers or textures you have in mind.

Once we have finalized the details, I personally select every premium stem and ribbon to curate a piece that is uniquely yours.
